Hangzhou - "Paradise on Earth"

Last week's 3-day vacation trip.  First stop was to Hangzhou, one of China's smaller towns - only 7.2 million people! As this wall suggests,  this is a garden city. I took almost 200 pictures in just this one city and I don't know what to cut out.

Spring Walk Around Campus

Lots of workers out painting, pruning, clearing, sprucing up,

and beautiful blossoms popping out everywhere. It really is a delight to walk to class!













But I've never seen anything quite like these trees. I'm wondering what they'll look like when they leaf out.
